The Catholic Women's League is very much a practical group, being a national, non-political organisation for the promotion of religious and intellectual interest and social work. It is vital that Catholic interests are represented on important public bodies and we work to present this view. We also seek to develop an ethos for the formation and collective expression of Catholic public opinion. If you have enjoyed reading this paragraph then we can probably benefit from your help too.

We set out to help at our own section in the parish and undertaking parish work. We raise funds, we train and encourage new members to use their talents and skills in the service of the church and community on a local, national and international level. We are actively seeking new members - our current membership is 15 who share meetings in a member's house, and we pray for vocations. We are endeavouring to encourage new, younger, members of the parish community to seek us out. Membership subs are £9 per year and each member receives a quarterly Newsletter. You can participate in children's camps, religious education, relief for refugees, international contacts, and social welfare work.
