Isabelle Demers is the young virtuoso organist from Quebec. She is rapidly gaining a reputation as "a force of nature – a diminutive dynamo" and we are very lucky to be able to hear her perform on our magnificent, newly restored organ as part of her European tour this summer.
Programme to include music by Bach, Widor and Reger.
Free admission, retiring collection.

Organ recital 14th July 2012
This was an absolutely fantastic performance by a very gifted young organist. It had to be seen and heard to be believed. Every stop was used and virtually every sound that our organ is capable of producing rang out last night. As an enthralled audience watched the video screen, Isabelle's hands flew delicately across the manuals and plucked at stops, at times so fast that you just couldn't keep up with her. Definitely a name watch out for in the future.
