Pope Benedict arrives in Wimbledon

Pope Benedict's flight from Glasgow is due to land at 9:25 pm at Heathrow airport. Some time after that he will be arriving at the Apostolic Nunciature, 54 Parkside, Wimbledon, SW19 5NE.

 Will there be any gatherings at the Nuncio or in Wimbledon to see the Holy Father or something like this?

There is a gathering planned

There is a gathering planned for his departure on Sunday - details still TBC I think. As far as this evening goes I'm sure there will be plenty of people there doubtless including plenty of parishioners from here but as far as I know people are making their own arrangements. Certainly the barriers and a few police were already out last night when I drove down Parkside!
