The organ
In the late 1960s I presided at the organ in Christ Church, Lancaster Gate (sadly no more). It was a 4 manual Walker with early 20th century additions by Norman & Beard and so with some similarities to the organ at Sacred Heart. Before moving to Canada I never made the acquaintance of your instrument and so have been delighted to see the updates about its recent renovation as well as sound clips of it being played.
But -- what is its current status? Is it all back in the church? Has it been re-dedicated? I seem unable to find any news! Also, some sound clips of the organin its renewed state would be wonderful.
Organ
Yes the organ is back in. Please visit the music home page where you can find information about the restoration and details of future concerts. You will nott be disappointed!
