As announced at all Masses today, Archbishop Kevin McDonald has informed parishes of his resignation for health reasons.

In his letter to the people of the Diocese he says,

"... Visiting our parishes, like visiting our Schools, has been one of the greatest joys of being Archbishop and something that I have missed very much over the last two years...

Please do continue to pray for me as I await further surgery, I can assure you that you will all be very much in my thoughts and prayers both now and in the future."
