On Friday 4 June 2010 we had a most enjoyable Ploughman's Lunch. About 60 men and women came and enjoyed home made soup, with bread and cheese/pate and fresh fruit. They also had a glass of wine or a fruit juice included on their entrance fee of £5.00. The Parish Social Club added atmosphere when they opened the bar so that some could have another glass of wine or beer at a very favourable charge.

We also were entertained by John Horgan and Garry Smith with very lively solo and duet piano pieces, sing – along and hilarious monologues.

We had an afternoon to be remembered for a very long time.
