Many thanks for the unusual words of wisdom about New Year's celebrations past and present and national and international. Your research about Sydney Australia's 'eternity' and SA's Mandela's flame of peace was enlightening and a thought provoking start to the new decade.

Hi, I used to be a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church until April 2009. I have since married and moved to Karachi (huge difference in lifestyle!) and celebrated my first Christmas in a Muslim country without my mum Maureen and sister Cindy (who are still parishioners at SHC). I miss the church, the priests, the many friends I have made through cleaning the church and the various activities the church provided. Thank you for posting pictures of the crib and thank you for the super new website which I will visit regularly to keep my memory of the SHC alive.
