We have two wonderful concerts to enjoy this month:
Firstly on Saturday 21st January at 7.45pm our organist David Gammie will play a colourful programme of inspirational organ music, both sacred and secular. Watch David playing via the big video screen! This concert launches the centenary of our stunning and historic Walker organ which was completed in 1912. Free admission with a retiring collection (full programme details).
Then on Saturday 28th January at 7.45pm Rachel and John Marshall and Giles Kennedy of the 9.45 Family Mass music team are joined by guest tenor Thomas Raskin for a concert of well-known and much loved operatic arias and duets by Mozart, Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti and Lehár. After the concert there will be a Reception in the Upper Hall with bubbly and Louise Cooper's lovely canapés. Tickets (£10 for concert, £5 for reception, half price for children under 16) will be available after Mass on Sunday 22nd January and are also in the bookshop. They will also be available on the door (full programme details). This concert is in aid of the piano fund.
