Trumped at last!! The Sacred Heart Bridge Group after 22 years held its last Chicago Bridge Drive on May 20th 2010.

In the interval a small party ensued with players sharing each other "goodies" with a glass of wine/juice. Agnes Fox on behalf of those present gave Cecilia a signed card and garden token and thanked her for all her hard work. In reply Cecilia said how much she appreciated the gift and their support over the years and she paid tribute to Mary Thefaut co-founder of the Group, who she was delighted to see felt well enough to attend.

Then back to playing bridge and the evening ended quietly and with sadness. Maybe somewhere someone will come forward and re-start this social gathering, perhaps with a different format?
