Today we pray for the Catholic schools in the parish - all five of them. The Sacred Heart Primary School is close to all of our hearts. Let us pray for all 450 children there and the 50 staff that provide a joyful, yet studious environment. Saying mass there is one of my special joys. We also pray for Donhead and Ursuline Prep which continue to enrich our community. We keep in mind the two comprehensive high schools in the parish, Ursuline and Wimbledon College. They serve the parish as well as the surrounding parishes. We are so fortunate and blessed to have the special service and ministry of training the young so strongly represented within our community. Please pray for the student who are still preparing for exams. Pray for those who are awaiting important results this summer. Please continue to pray for the dedicated teaching and administrative staffs.

At the Jesuit community at 14 Edge Hill, the parish is newly blessed with Jesuit priests who lecture at Heythrop College, the Jesuit institution within the consortium that makes up the University of London. So please pray for them and the great work of Heythrop. Also please pray for the Jesuit scholastics living in the parish and studying for the priesthood at Heythrop. We have more than a dozen scholastics living in the parish from all over the world. So thank the Lord for their vocations and pray that they grow in answering God's call.
