Today we pray for the whole parish having reflected during these past eight days on the vast activities of the parish.  I hope in your reflections and prayers you have come to see this wonderful community in its many shapes and sizes.  My privilege is to encounter you all in these many different activitiesforms.  It is the primary grace of my work, in seeing God's work so clearly being done, very simply in your actions of service.  Let this day be a day of prayer but also a joyful thanksgiving for all the graces the Lord imparts in each of us.  Let us thank in prayer the previous generations that have contributed so much in creating this faith community.  Let us also pray that through our continual openness to the Spirit we will receive the graces to respond to all the needs in the coming years.  Let pray a big thank you here.
