The parish Christmas lunch is one of the best things we do as a parish, throwing our doors open to welcome all comers to spend Christmas Day around our table. Anyone who wants to come is welcome be they old, sick, homeless, lonely, single parents with their children, whoever would like to spend Christmas Day with the parish team. There is no charge for guests.
In the autumn a small team of co-ordinators begins to make plans for the forthcoming lunch, and in November there is a parish-wide appeal for volunteers and donations.
If you'd like to get involved or help in any way, please contact Louise Cooper (louise

Thanks
Louise, Marian, Alison and Kate
Fr McMillan warmly invites you to join the Clergy and Parishioners for lunch at 12 noon on Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December, in the Sacred Heart Upper Hall on Edge Hill.
If you'd like to come then either fill out an invitation form (available at the back of the church or you can download the invitation from this website) and return it to the parish bookshop in the Presbytery, or, if you prefer, fill in your name and contact information below and we will contact you with further details.
Fr McMillan invites everyone join in the Parish Christmas Lunch by giving their time or money to make sure that once again the Lunch brings joy and happiness to many members of our Parish community who might otherwise celebrate Our Saviour’s Birth alone.
If you are able to then please indicate the way(s) in which you would like to help, either by completing the form below or downloading the attached PDF version and handing it in or sending it to the Presbytery:
Donations (cash, or cheques payable to Sacred Heart Wimbledon) should be handed in to the Parish Bookshop.
Many thanks to all those who contributed in so many different ways to making this year's Christmas lunch a great success.
FR. MCMILLAN invites you once again to make CHRISTMAS 2009 a Parish Day.
Come along – have lunch and spend the day with the Clergy and other parishioners, rather than being on your own. To help planning the day, please fill in the form below or contact the Presbytery on [Sorry, number no longer available] as soon as possible if you would like to come.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their time and help and made such generous donations. We would still be very grateful for any extra helpers on Christmas Day itself.
Once again Fr Macmillan is extending a warm invitation to all who would like to attend the parish Christmas lunch.

We aim to create warm welcoming, cosy and fun filled day with something for everyone.
Jon Wheeler who has coordinated things for several years has hung up his apron and Louise Cooper and Richard Martin are jointly trying to step into his shoes. We have a committee of people helping, some from Jon's team and some new faces.
There are countless ways of getting involved.
