Jesuits
The Jesuit Missions is one of the works of the Society of Jesus, which in the UK is to provide support and funds for its Missionaries in Guyana, Zimbabwe and South Africa as well as many other developing countries where Jesuits work. In these Developing countries it is very difficult to come by the regular things we take for granted, and therefore a large part of Jesuit Missions work is making purchases, ranging from books to medical equipment, fridges, generators and motor vehicles, just to name a few. Jesuit Refugee Service
The Jesuit Refugee Service was set up by Pedro Arrupe over 20 years ago in a prophetic moment of foresight, now it is one of the main refugee service providers in the world, often working in parts of the world where it is the only service provider. This is an invaluable sight with up to date news flashes, and a monthly free email news bulletin 'Dispatches' from all around the world. Other items of interests are recently published books and photo galleries.

Jesuits working in the Sciences

The Young British
Jesuit Alumni/ae is the under 30 age-group of the British Jesuit Alumni/ae,
a lay charitable trust. It is a volunteer organisation which takes members from
our five Jesuit schools in Britain and those who wish to join them. It arranges
post-University and post-school service periods overseas and has an ongoing
programme.
