BAPTISM: |
Adult : Anyone interested in the Catholic Church may follow a course in the Catholic Faith called RCIA -the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. (See entry 4 in Directory).
Infant : We hold a Baptism Course on the first Sunday afternoon each month. Parents wishing to have their children baptised must attend. Please see Fr. Donovan.

HOLY COMMUNION & CONFESSIONS: |
First Holy Communion and Reconciliation are made at about the age of 8 years. There is one parish programme for these Sacraments, which at present is being run in the Annexe to Donhead Lodge School . For further information, please contact Sr. Dorothy. |

As well as the regular times for confession, services of reconciliation are arranged from time to time and are advertised in the weekly Newsletter. Confessions at other times - on request at the Presbytery.

CONFIRMATION: |
The minimum age for this is the school year in which a young person reaches 13,(Year8)
|
MARRIAGE: |
Weddings are normally celebrated in the parish of the bride. The diocesan regulation is that six months' notice should be given in order to receive adequate preparation. Marriages are part of the community of faith in a parish.Couples are expected to attend a Marriage Preparation Day run by couples in the parish.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK: |
This Sacrament is of great value to the sick and aged. Mass with the Anointing of the Sick for those who are elderly, infirm or frail, is celebrated each quarter on the first Friday of the month and advertised in the Newsletter.
