We are a cheerful group of friendly people doing an essential job keeping our church clean and tidy and well cared for. We all notice when our house has been thoroughly cleaned and so it is for our Sacred Heart Church . Once we have done our work we can all then enjoy the work of the flower group who decorate the church or those who have been busy sewing and displaying their handicrafts for the Easter celebrations. We really need helpers men as well as women who will do this basic work of keeping our church clean and well presented for all the liturgical services and our many visitors.

We meet every week on a Monday to do our work when the church is really quiet and empty, so it is an ideal time to clean up after the weekend's busy activities. We have the church to ourselves. All we need is some time to come along to pick up the cleaning materials and make a start. As we clean we can see the church looking brighter and ready for the next round of church goers, so our work is a celebration of the fact that we can physically do some work for God, keeping his house clean.

We would welcome some new members (men would be specially welcome) - just come along any Monday morning after the 10 o'clock Mass and make your self known to one of us. If you are a bit or unsure please give your name and telephone in at the Presbytery so that one of us can make contact with you. We will make you very welcome.
