Fr. Francis Rodrigues arrived this past week.  Some of you would have enjoyed his first masses in the parish this past Sunday.  Fr. Rodrigues will be with us for the foreseeable future and will be taking over the pastoral concern of area A, which up until now I had been doing, though very inadequately.  We are very please he has joined the pastoral team.  He brings a vast experience, most recently at St. Aloysius, the Jesuit parish in Glasgow.  But he has mostly worked in east Africa, as he is a member of the East African Province.   The youth should be on the lookout for when he brings out his guitar.
