jesuit missions work in Pakistan

Fr Imram Ghouri SJ, a Jesuit working in Pakistan, is coordinating aid through the Catholic community in Pakistan.  The British Province website has a short message from him and a link to Jesuit Missions.

GOOD NEWS - Gerard Cook - new parish youth minister!

Come September the parish will welcome Gerard Cook as the new parish youth minister.  He comes highly recommended and, despite his youthful age, has been involved in parish youth minsitry for almost seven years.  He will receive an excellent program from James Potter.  I think all

Philip Rozario, a former parishioner was ordained a priest at Ampleforth

Some parishioners may remember Philip Rozario.  He has been ordained a priest at Ampleforth this past month.  Margaret Duffy went to the ordination mass and has been sent a few pictures.  Unfortunately, none give a good view of his face, which could help some of you to identify him

new floor poured today - photos

Today they poured the new floor, with a series of trucks bringing the concrete; see here.  A metal pipe was laid into the church, so that the concrete could be pumped into the church
