Sacred Heart Church, in Wimbledon, a Roman Catholic parish, served by the Jesuits of the British Province, welcomes you to our website. As one of the largest parishes in England, we hope this site highlights the dynamic community that has been a place of worship for over a century. At the heart of our parish are the many people of all ages who work, study, pray and share their lives together. We invite and encourage you to explore, discover and visit the Sacred Heart.

We will be celebrating the Year for Priests and the service of our Jesuit Community at the 11.15 Mass on Sunday 31st January, followed by lunch in the parish hall. Please bring a plate of food. Everybody welcome. Please do join us in showing our deep gratitude to our priests.

In his letter to the people of the Diocese he says,
As many of you will already be aware, the Pannur region of India has recently been devastated by flooding. We do all we can to respond to respond to emergency situations wherever there is a Jesuit presence on the ground but here in Wimbledon we have been blessed with a particularly special relationship with the Pannur region and its Dalit people.
