Sacred Heart Church, in Wimbledon, a Roman Catholic parish, served by the Jesuits of the British Province, welcomes you to our website. As one of the largest parishes in England, we hope this site highlights the dynamic community that has been a place of worship for over a century. At the heart of our parish are the many people of all ages who work, study, pray and share their lives together. We invite and encourage you to explore, discover and visit the Sacred Heart.

EASTER OFFERINGS Fr Keith McMillan and the clergy would like to thank the parishioners for their generous Easter offerings.

I offer you this short meditation of Christ on the cross:
Fr Ashworth's operation on his colon went well. The various doctors he has are happy with the result. He now needs to recover from the sugery and begin his kidney dialysis in the next few days.
We ask your prayers for Fr. Michael Ashworth. He will have surgery this Wednesday on his colon. He will be in the hospital for little over a week. Depending on his recovery he will settle into a dialysis treatment for his kidney.
